Plantations Stars Travel Baseball Program on the Rise!!!

The Plantation Stars 9U and 13U travel baseball teams won the Triple Crown February Frost Tournament over the weekend here at Central Park.  The 9U team won all 5 games played by averaging over 14 runs a game while pitching 9 different pitchers in the games played. The depth in the pitching staff and at the catcher's position was the difference in the games as the Stars had limited base on balls and passed balls while other teams struggled to pitch and catch.

The 13U team played a great championship game with the Pembroke Lakes Wildcats as the Stars pitched a 3-0 shutout. The Stars had timely defensive plays to keep the Wildcats from establishing any real scoring threat.  The 13U Stars won the Premier League Championship in the Fall Season with a 23-2 record and look to repeat in the Spring.
